As is the case every year at this time, we’re feeling incredibly proud and appreciative as Harry’s embarks upon a new year, this our twenty-first.  Inevitably, the sense of renewal encourages all of us to initiate change for the better. In the coming year, like the previous twenty, our team has worked under two unifying principles; first, to put our guests and friends before ourselves, and second, to work at improving our service and offerings each day. In the spirit of those principles we are ushering in an exciting and positive change to both Harry’s and Howdy’s.

In 1993, Howdy’s was introduced as a lunch concept to provide the downtown business and residential community a quick lunch option while still providing a fresh, homemade, friendly, and affordable menu. Howdy’s, lovingly nicknamed the “little brother” to Harry’s, remains the same today as it did seventeen years ago. On January 31, we are proud to announce that Howdy’s is no longer the “little brother”, it will be all grown up—and changing its name!

We’re excited to introduce Harry’s Deli!

The same fresh, homemade, and affordable lunch options will still be available. In the coming weeks we will expand our menu, we encourage you to stay tuned to our website for more details.

In order to make way for Harry’s Deli to grow and expand its wings, sometimes the big brother has to step aside. Beginning on January 3, we will no longer offer lunch service from our Harry's menu. This change brings exciting new opportunities. Our team understands the importance of Harry’s to the business community, so, immediately on January 3, we will expand our lunch seating into the Harry’s front window and bar area. We encourage all of our longtime Harry’s lunch guests and new ones to experience lunch at Harry’s Deli and have a seat in the bar (Don’t worry, the lights will be on!) We invite you to look forward to additional features and improvements as we continue to strive towards an impeccable dining experience at Harry’s and Harry’s Deli.

On behalf of our entire team at Harry’s we wish all of you, our friends, a safe, joyous, and merry holiday season. 2011, here we come!
